How Long Does It Take To Fit A Dental Crown?

Typically, it takes two visits to properly fit a crown. That is because we customize every crown to your tooth’s specific size and shape. During your first visit, we will remove decay, shape the tooth, and put in a temporary crown. On the subsequent visit, we remove the temporary crown and properly fit your porcelain crown—adjusting as needed to leave you with a comfortable and effective bite. Finally, we cement the crown into place to ensure a truly durable restoration.
